Experience a high energy lineup of regional indie rock as The Dylan Read Band, Wild Sun, and Pure Joy team up for an unforgettable live showcase.
The Dylan Read Band
Rooted in the indie scene of New London, Connecticut, his solo work highlights a deeply personal, melody-driven approach to indie rock. Under this banner, Read has released a six-song EP featuring tracks such as "Runt," "Touch of Blue," "Never Better," and "Irish Song," alongside the standout indie-pop single "Heart Attack." His solo music blends introspective songwriting with driving rhythms and can be streamed directly on Spotify.
Beyond his solo project, Read is highly active in the regional live circuit, frequently sharing the stage with local acts and notably opening for his father's band, Radiotricity. He is also known as a co-frontman and founding member of Roosevelt Drive, a high-energy indie-pop and rock band that splits its footprint across Connecticut and New York. Alongside his bandmate Ty, Read brings a raw, 90s-inspired alternative edge to the group, regularly packing out regional venues.
Wild Sun
Wild Sun is an alternative indie rock trio based out of Westerly, Rhode Island, known for their raw, high-energy brand of 90s-inspired psychedelic rock and roll.
Formed by singer-songwriter Glenn Kendzia (vocals/guitar), the band's lineup is solidified by brothers Paul Fazio (bass) and Padraic Fazio (drums). Together, the trio has built a fierce reputation across the New England DIY circuit for their explosive, untamed live performances and anthemic songwriting.
Pure Joy
Pure Joy is an alternative indie rock band deeply rooted in the coastal independent and DIY music scene of the Northeast. Characterized by a dense wall of sound, the group blends atmospheric, swirling guitar textures with aggressive, driving rhythms to capture a distinct balance of melodic post-punk and dynamic indie rock. Driven by a relentless independent work ethic, they have established themselves as a formidable live act, consistently packing out rooms and building a strong foothold in the regional underground circuit.
The band is a marquee fixture across the Connecticut live circuit, regularly anchoring high-energy nights at regional venues like The Cellar on Treadwell in Hamden. They have also successfully transitioned to major regional festival lineups, securing a slot on the Harp & Dragon stage at the Rose Arts Festival and performing at the annual Hygienic Indie Music Fest in the Hygienic Art Park. Beyond traditional concert venues, the group has been tapped for exclusive live broadcast events, including recording showcases at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk.
